If you have a headache it is probably from strained muscles at the base of your skull. These muscles are called sub-occipital muscles. They contract and apply pressure to a nerve called the greater occipital nerve; this nerve gives you sensation from the base of your skull, over your head and down to your eyebrows and can result in a headache. This is commonly treated safely and effectively with Chiropractic and with great success. So next time you have a headache give me a call.
